“I’m against holding elections during the war, but they will happen soon after it ends. There’s a real risk that corrupt officials and incompetents will return to power if decent people aren’t prepared for these elections — parliamentary, local, and presidential. That’s why the time to prepare is now. Otherwise, election day will come, and decent people won’t be ready — and they’ll lose again, just like after the two Maidans. That’s exactly why, even while continuing to support our Armed Forces, I’m building a new team and bringing together supporters — to make sure that in the next elections, we bring honest, competent, and patriotic people to power. People who will swiftly crush corruption, restore order, and make Ukraine truly successful.”
